Thinking like a strategist means looking beyond the visual result and focusing on the bigger picture.
Instead of asking “Does this look good?”, a strategist asks:
- Does this communicate the right message?
- Is it aligned with the brand’s goals?
- Does it guide the user toward an action?
This way of thinking changes the creative process. Design becomes a tool to solve problems, not just a decorative element.
By adopting a strategic mindset, designers can create more meaningful and effective work. This approach is at the core of my transition into digital marketing, where creativity is guided by purpose and intention.
